Not Merely a Temporary “Band-Aid” Fix!!

How Can Independence Be Gained Through Online Learning?

This is a question I receive from parents ALL the time. Here’s the reality… 99% of children who struggle with their current grade level work aren’t really struggling simply because the new material is challenging.

Let me explain…

All learning is cumulative. This means that in order to do 6th-grade math successfully, you will need to have a deep understanding of the skills taught from kindergarten through 5th grade. The problem is that for most children, there are some skills that
weren’t fully understood from previous grades.

The solution to actually FIXING the challenge while creating long-term independence lies in finding those foundational skills and working on mastering those!

The biggest hurdle to this is that most schools don’t have the time/resources for this sort of individualized approach. At home, most parents don’t know HOW to find those foundational skills. If they do find them, knowing HOW to teach their child best becomes difficult (or nearly impossible)!

In fact, over the past eight years, one of the biggest reasons parents seek outside assistance for their child IS the lack of communication from the school! This is also one of the many reasons we started this organization in the first place…

The fact is that when you have more than one person working together toward the same goal… the transition happens from a one-person-army to a TEAM! So, recognizing that much more can happen much faster when working together, we made it our mission to work VERY closely with parents through all aspects of our program.
